RSS Mobile Trailer Repair in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an experienced Trailer Mechanic. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of semi-trailer diagnostics and repair, are safety-minded, self-motivated, and able to work on a mobile service truck while communicating clearly with customers.

Starting pay is $25-$32 per hour, commensurate with experience, with quarterly bonuses after 90 days, overtime after 40 hours, and bi-weekly pay. Benefits include paid holidays, vacation time, and 401(k) after 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose all trailer systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and parts, including ABS, frame, body, doors, tires and electrical systems.
• Independently motivated professional, dedicated to providing top-notch service.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers.
• Properly operate the mobile Service Truck.
• Follow all safety requirements while servicing trailers and while driving the Service Truck.

About the Job

A successful candidate for this position would be an experienced Trailer Mechanic (5 years or more preferred), with a strong understanding of semi-trailer diagnostics and repair. Someone who is self-motivated, safety-minded, enjoys mobile service truck work and is able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.

• $25-$32/hour. Starting Pay commensurate with experience.
• Quarterly Safety & Performance Bonuses after 90 days.
• Monday-Friday - DAYS!

Requirements

• Experience required. 5 years or more experience strongly preferred.
• Outdoor, mobile service truck position.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and Drug Screen.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
