RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is seeking an Experienced Mobile Trailer Technician in Columbus, OH to diagnose, repair and maintain semi-trailer systems on a mobile service truck. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, a valid CDL, and a safety‑minded approach to field service.

The role offers $25‑$35/hour, with overtime after 40 hours, bi‑weekly pay, paid holidays/vacations, 401(k) after 1 year, and quarterly safety and performance bonuses after 90 days.

Qualifications

• 5 years or more experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and Drug Screen.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose all trailer systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and parts, including ABS, frame, body, doors, tires and electrical systems.
• Independently motivated professional, dedicated to providing top-notch service.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers.
• Properly operate the mobile Service Truck.
• Follow all safety requirements while servicing trailers and while driving the Service Truck.

About the Job

A successful candidate for this position would be an experienced Trailer Mechanic (5 years or more preferred), with a strong understanding of semi-trailer diagnostics and repair. Someone who is self-motivated, safety-minded, enjoys mobile service truck work and is able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.

• $25-$35/hour. Starting Pay commensurate with experience.
• Quarterly Safety & Performance Bonuses after 90 days.
• Monday-Friday - DAYS!
