Job summary

Genuine Parts Company’s Heavy Vehicle Parts Group Stores seeks an experienced trailer mechanic to repair semi-trailers, box trucks, and flat beds. You will work on replacing components such as brakes, roofs, flooring and doors, and perform wiring and ABS system repairs.

Qualifications include 3–5 years of mechanic experience, HS diploma or equivalent, own hand tools, and the ability to lift up to 100 lb. This role emphasizes safety and reliability in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of prior mechanic experience.
• At least 18 years old.
• You must have your own hand tools.
• Reliable, organized, detailed and focused.
• Ability to move up to 100 lb and lift up to 50 lb.
• HS Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Repair semi-trailers, box trucks, flat beds, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness of shop area.
• Adhere to all safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
