FleetPride is seeking a Mobile Trailer Technician II to master preventative maintenance, diagnose trailer system failures, and perform repairs with limited supervision on Class 7 and 8 trailers. This role also involves shop work between service calls and potential on-call rotation at the location.
Required are 3+ years of trailer repair experience, a valid driver’s license with a good record, and tools. CDL is preferred but not mandatory; safety and reliability are emphasized in a fast-paced

The Mobile Trailer Technician II is expected to have mastered all applications of Preventative Maintenance and to perform basic and advanced adjustments, repairs and component replacements with limited supervision on Class 7 and 8 trailers. Additionally, will perform basic diagnostic operations in order to successfully diagnose trailer system failures and suggest accurate system repairs. This technician will also work in the shop between service calls. They may also be asked to participate in the after-hour on-call rotation for the location, if needed.
High school diploma or GED Vocational and/or Welding certificate/degree is a plus, but not required.
3 + years of experience with repairing class 7 & 8 trailers Carpentry fabrication and welding
Valid driver’s license with good driving record required. Class A CDL is preferred, but not required. Must provide hand tools, air tools, and toolbox. Maintain perfect safety record Ability to lift 50lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT - Exposure to Inside/Outside Conditions, Extreme Temperatures (average of 100 Degrees F), Humid Conditions, Chemical Hazards, Vibration, Equipment Noise, Work in enclosed and confined spaces.
