Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking a DOT inspection certified mechanic with tank trailer repair experience for our Beaumont, TX location. The role covers diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, tank service and repairs, suspension work, and DOT compliance inspections.

Shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with pay range $17–$37 per hour depending on experience. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), paid time off, holidays, and additional programs like tuition

Qualifications

• Experience repairing tank trailers and tanks.
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs.

Trailer Mechanic

We are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanics with tank trailer repair experience!

Shift Hours

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

This position is for our Beaumont branch at 4640 Washington Blvd, Beaumont, TX 77707.

Pay Range: $17.00 to $37.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (optional)
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)

Physical Demands:

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
