Depot Connect International is seeking a DOT certified Trailer Mechanic for our Port Allen, LA location. The role requires 2–4+ years of tank and/or trailer repair experience and skin repair experience preferences.

Shift is Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with a pay range of $24.00–$38.00 per hour depending on experience. The position includes benefits like medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) with match, PTO, and holiday pay, along with programs such as a tool purchase plan and safety

Qualificações

• DOT certification required.
• 2–4+ years of tank/trailer repair experience.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical failures on tank trailers.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems on tank trailers.
• Perform tank service and trailer repairs including suspension.
• Inspect tanks/trailers to DOT HM183/hazmat standards.

We are currently searching for DOT certified Trailer Mechanic with 2-4+ years of tank and/or trailer repair and skin repair experience for our Port Allen, LA location!

Shift Hours: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay Range: $24.00 to $38.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

(Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.)

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (optional)
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)

Physical Demands:

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
