Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for repairs and preventive maintenance of trailers. You will inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform maintenance on equipment, and conduct safety inspections with FMCSA documentation.

You will interpret work orders and manuals, replace defective parts, and test equipment to ensure compliance with manufacturer specs and regulations. Regular attendance and flexibility to work nights/weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 17+ years of age.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must know general repairs and PM criteria.
• Must possess the ability to keep up with changing technology and updates.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for repairs and preventive maintenance of trailers.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform maintenance on equipment.
• Perform safety inspections and prepare FMCSA safety documents as required.
• Interpret work orders and technical manuals.
• Repair or replace defective parts and test equipment to meet specifications.
