Job summary

NFI is seeking skilled technicians to maintain and diagnose our dedicated fleet. You’ll perform routine maintenance, diagnose trailer system issues, and repair components to keep trucks on the road. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and clear customer communication in a shop setting.

The ideal candidate has a technical degree or equivalent maintenance experience, and familiarity with diagnostic tools (JPRO, OEM software, multimeters). Growth and training opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Class B license preferred.
• Technical or advanced degree or 2+ years of equivalent maintenance experience.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting equipment repairs and maintenance with diagnostic tools.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations.
• Diagnose issues with trailer systems (electrical, suspension, brakes).
• Repair or replace damaged parts (tires, brakes, suspension).
• Perform welding and fabrication as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Communicate with customers about repairs and maintenance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
