City of San Antonio seeks a supervisor to direct a crew responsible for maintenance of parks and public areas. You will oversee daily work, ensure schedules, inspect safety, and coordinate repairs and events.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of labor or maintenance, and a Texas driver's license; the job involves physical outdoor work with varying hours including some evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in labor or maintenance.
• Must possess the appropriate Texas Driver's License plus any required endorsements within six months.

Responsabilités

• Oversees a work crew involved in a variety of maintenance duties including sweeping/cleaning streets, mowing, trimming public areas, and custodial work.
• Repairs or replaces equipment at City parks and facilities.
• Prepares City facilities for events.
• Participates in construction, maintenance, and repair of streets, City buildings and facilities; may lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Inspects work areas before, during, and after work for quality and safety.
• Inspects equipment and reports needed maintenance or repairs.
• Maintains inventory of equipment and supplies and ensures stock levels.
• Develops work schedules and ensures timely completion of work.
• Performs related duties as required.
