The role requires a High school diploma or GED with specialized training in equipment operation, plus 3 years of related experience. A Professional Turf Manager Certification is required or obtainable within six months, along with a Texas Class C Driver's License.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with specialized schooling or on-the-job training in a specific skill area, like equipment operation.
• Professional Turf Manager Certification or obtain within six months of hire or promotion.
• Must possess a valid Texas Class C Driver's License when hired.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, MVR check.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Must possess basic: Word Processing/Typing.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew in maintenance of parks, athletic fields, and amenities.
• Issue work orders and allocate tools, materials, and supplies.
• Train new employees and supervise at job site.
• Monitor safety conditions for personnel and patrons.
• Perform equipment operation tasks like mowing and trimming.
• Respond to emergencies after hours and weekends.
