Job summary

Korman Signs is seeking a Traffic Sign Fabricator to join our on-site production team in Richmond, Virginia. This hands-on role involves fabricating, applying, and assembling traffic signs according to customer specifications and safety standards.

You will work with a range of materials and equipment, gain exposure to multiple production processes, and collaborate with an experienced team to deliver quality signs for nationwide use.

Qualifications

• Dependeable, mechanically inclined, attentive to detail and hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Good math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble traffic signs per layouts using fabrication equipment.
• Lay out and apply vinyl film and reflective sheeting to sign blanks.
• Lift, position and finalize signs with hardware and bracing.
• Prepare sign blanks from aluminum, plastic and composite materials.
• Operate forklifts and cranes safely; maintain orderly work area.
• Cross-train on smaller signs and other production tasks.
