AWP Safety, Inc. is hiring a Protector to join our field team on traffic job sites in Florida. No prior experience or degree is required; we provide training and ongoing support to help you build a career in traffic safety.

You will set up cones and signs, guide traffic with a stop/slow paddle, and work outdoors in all weather. Expect a flexible schedule, paid training, and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Able to stand, walk, and work outside for long periods.
• Able to lift 40–50 pounds.
• Willing to work in traffic and changing weather.
• Flexible schedule; show up on time for every shift.
• Must pass pre-hire screening including drug test.
• Stay alert around moving traffic and follow safety rules.
• Treat coworkers, clients, and public with respect.

Responsibilities

• Set up cones, signs, and barricades and take equipment down.
• Use stop/slow paddle to guide traffic.
• Follow safety rules taught in training.
• Communicate with crew and supervisor.
• Keep vehicles and equipment clean and safe.
• Work outside year-round in all weather.
• Shifts may change; nights, weekends, or emergency work may be required.
• Stand or walk 8 to 12 hours per shift.
