Job summary

AWP Safety in Florida is hiring Protectors to work at job sites with a team. No experience or degree is required; we train you and support your career. Safety comes first and you will learn and practice traffic control basics on site.

You'll set up cones, signs, and barricades, guide traffic with a stop/slow paddle, and work outdoors year-round. Shifts may include nights, weekends, or emergencies.

Qualifications

• No experience or degree required; training provided.
• Must pass pre-hire screening and drug test.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work outside for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Setting up cones, signs, and barricades and taking traffic control equipment down.
• Using a stop/slow paddle to guide traffic.
• Following all safety rules taught in training.
• Communicating with your crew and supervisor.
• Helping keep vehicles and equipment clean and safe.
• Working outside all year, in all weather.
• Shifts may include nights, weekends, or emergency work.
