Job summary

AWP Safety, Inc. is seeking a Protector to join a field team at job sites. No experience or degree is required; training is provided and safety is the top priority.

Daily duties include setting up cones, signs, and barricades, guiding traffic with a stop/slow paddle, following safety rules, communicating with the crew, and keeping equipment clean. Shifts may include nights, weekends, or emergency work; you may stand 8–12 hours.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to stand, walk, and work outside for long periods.
• Able to lift 40–50 pounds.
• Willing to work in varying weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule; punctual for all shifts.
• Must pass pre-hire screening, including a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Set up cones, signs, and barricades and take down traffic control equipment.
• Use a stop/slow paddle to guide traffic and monitor job site activity.
• Follow all safety rules taught in training.
• Communicate with crew and supervisor.
• Keep vehicles and equipment clean and safe.
