Job summary

AWP Safety, Inc. is hiring Protectors to join our team at job sites. No experience or degree is required; we provide training and support to help you build a career in traffic safety.

You will set up cones, signs and barricades, guide traffic with a stop/slow paddle, and work outside in all weather. Shifts may include nights, weekends, or emergency work; equipment and safety gear are provided.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-hire screening including a drug test (safety sensitive job).
• Able to stand, walk, and work outside for long periods.
• Flexible schedule; show up on time, every shift.
• Able to lift 40–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up cones, signs, and barricades and take traffic control equipment down.
• Use a stop/slow paddle to guide traffic and monitor job site activity.
• Follow all safety rules taught in training.
• Communicate with your crew and supervisor.
• Help keep vehicles and equipment clean and safe.
• Work outside all year, in all weather; shifts may include nights/weekends.
