Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a Traffic Safety Protector to work with a team at various job sites, ensuring safety and proper traffic control. Training is provided, no prior experience or degree required, with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities include setting up traffic control equipment, guiding traffic with a stop/slow paddle, and maintaining site safety. The role involves outdoors work in all weather, with some nights or weekends, and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift 40–50 pounds.
• Willingness to work in traffic and diverse weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule and punctuality.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Commitment to safety and respectful interaction with coworkers and the public.

Responsibilities

• Set up cones, signs, and barricades and remove traffic control equipment.
• Use stop/slow paddle to guide traffic and monitor site activity.
• Follow all safety protocols taught during training.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of vehicles and equipment.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions; some shifts may be nights or weekends.
• Stand or walk for extended periods, often 8–12 hours.
