AWP Safety, Inc. is seeking Protectors to join our traffic safety team. No experience or degree is required; we provide training, safety gear, and support.

You will set up signs, cones, and barricades, guide traffic with a stop/slow paddle, and work on-site in all weather. This role is physical and outdoors, with shifts that may include nights, weekends, or emergencies. A valid driver’s license is required, and the company offers paid training, potential overtime, and opportunities to advance to

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to lift 40–50 pounds.
• Willingness to work in traffic and in changing weather.
• Flexible schedule; punctual for all shifts.
• Must pass pre-hire screening including a drug test.

Responsabilités

• Setting up cones, signs, and barricades and taking traffic control equipment down.
• Using a stop/slow paddle to guide traffic and monitor site activity.
• Following all safety rules taught in training.
• Communicating with crew and supervisor.
• Helping keep vehicles and equipment clean and safe.
• Working outside year-round in all weather.
• Shifts may change; some nights, weekends, or emergencies may be required.
• Stand or walk 8 to 12 hours per shift.
