Qualifications

• EIT exam accepted by Ohio Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Surveyors.

Responsibilities

• Review and design simple plans for proposed highway construction projects.
• Perform traffic engineering studies (safety, speed, capacity, parking, corridor, developer, etc.).
• Conduct field inspections to analyze physical conditions and collect data.
• Prepare work orders and reports for public meetings.
• Prepare exhibits for public meetings and attend them.
• Respond to inquiries from the public and governmental officials.
• Monitor and update progress for status reports (e.g., safety annual work plan).
