Job summary

I-66 Express Mobility Partners seeks a Traffic & Revenue Trainee to gain experience across data analysis, sketch modeling, and pricing strategy development. You will help translate insights into actions that influence pricing and customer-facing strategies, becoming a data-driven storyteller for performance improvements.

You'll work on multiple projects using proprietary datasets, learn to forecast opportunities, and contribute to strategic decisions affecting Virginia express-lane operations.

Qualifications

• Master degrees preferred (Transportation focus); civil engineering or related degree required.
• Proficient in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, ArcGIS, TransCAD, Cube, SAS, Python, and MySQL.
• Experience with discrete choice modeling, econometrics, or data mining is valuable.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong data-structure knowledge.
• Superior writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ethical, collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Analyze multiple proprietary datasets for ad-hoc trend analyses.
• Analyze traffic and socioeconomic data of concession companies and their influence area.
• Develop forecast models for potential business opportunities.
• Define, implement and analyze traffic data collection programs.
• Prepare memos examining trends and travel patterns within regions of interest to the company.
• Evaluate feasibility of additional data collection and market research.
