Responsible for engineering design using general principles, interpreting and coordinating assignments with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 5–10 years' experience in the discipline.
• Proficient in discipline-specific design software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project requirements and information from studies to develop an accurate report.
• Analyze survey data, maps, drawings and geologic data to plan projects.
• Design projects per client specs using design software and drawing tools.
• Develop or review construction cost estimates.
• Prepare and compile contract plans, specifications and estimates.
• Attend meetings with clients and assist taking meeting minutes.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and understand their role in design.
• Conduct quality reviews of project design per PM Plan.
• Provide technical oversight and guidance to design engineers.
