Qualifications

• Possession of an Associate's degree in concrete technology, civil technology, construction technology, surveying technology, construction management, mathematics, or computer science.
• Three years of experience equivalent to a Transportation Technician, including one year equivalent to a Transportation Technician E10.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to Taylor Transportation Service Center's Traffic Safety and Traffic Operations Engineers and Operations staff.
• Assist with the preparation and implementation of temporary traffic control measures.
• Perform field reviews and inspections; review and document project records for adherence to established standards.
• Design non-standard signing and conduct data collection and surveying using GIS and GPS as needed.
