AECOM in Atlanta, GA is hosting a Traffic / ITS / Safety Intern position as part of an exclusive networking event. This internship offers hands-on experience in traffic safety, ITS, and operations projects, with data gathering, analysis, and collaboration on project deliverables.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field with at least one year of study completed, and may participate in a hybrid work environment at a leading infrastructure firm.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering or related field.
• Must have completed at least one year of study.
• Sponsorship for US employment is not available now or in the future.
• Relocation assistance is not available.

Responsabilités

• Assist in various aspects of Traffic Safety, ITS, and Traffic Operations projects.
• Gather and evaluate data related to vehicular and pedestrian incidents to identify trends and insights.
• Learn and apply standard practices, techniques, and procedures under guidance of experienced team members.
• Explore innovative solutions and design alternatives through research and analysis, including white paper development.
• Provide analytical support to enhance design concepts and project solutions.
• Engage in effective communication and collaboration with the project design team and other relevant parties.
• Contribute to the creation of project deliverables, including specifications, drawings, and visual graphics.
• Follow detailed technical instructions and methodologies to ensure design accuracy.
• Participate in the development of conceptual designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, and working drawings.
