Job summary

AECOM invites rising engineers to a hands-on Engineering/Data Analytics Intern role tied to a GDOT collaboration in Atlanta, GA. The position is part of a selective event, with in-office hours in Atlanta and hybrid remote flexibility for students.

You will work with transport engineers and analysts to optimize data-driven solutions, build dashboards, and analyze performance metrics to improve transportation operations.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree and have completed at least 1 year of study.
• Interest in transportation operations, data analytics or ITS is desirable.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Python, Excel and data-driven analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and analyze operational data to identify trends and improvements.
• Support the development of Power BI dashboards and data dictionaries.
• Analyze KPIs and translate data into actionable insights for leadership.
• Assist in QA of reports, dashboards, and deliverables for accuracy.
