Job summary

Patel, Greene and Associates (PGA) seeks a driven Professional Engineer (PE) to support and grow the Traffic & ITS team across offices in New York. You will apply your expertise to lead tasks, mentor junior staff, and contribute to project delivery and marketing for transportation initiatives.

You will take ownership of design tasks, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to business development while advancing your career within the firm.

Qualifications

Registered Professional Engineer (PE) is required.
0-10 years of post-registration Traffic/ITS design experience.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Civil or Environmental Engineering (ABET-accredited).

Responsibilities

Demonstrate proficiency in traffic-ITS concepts.
Often serves in role of (LTP), under the responsible charge of a more senior PE.
Capable of leading marketing efforts for less complex projects.
Assist Task Managers in a variety of project administrative duties.
Assist Senior Engineers with marketing efforts on larger, more complex projects.
Directs Engineer Interns, designers, and technicians in completing traffic-ITS tasks, providing frequent peer reviews.
Requires little-to-no technical supervision by senior staff.
Complete tasks and projects within established supervisor's expectations.
