Job summary

Patel, Greene and Associates (PGA) is seeking a driven Professional Engineer (PE) to join our Traffic & ITS team. The role supports project delivery, mentorship, and business development across multiple transportation projects in our Orlando-area offices.

You will lead design tasks, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and serve as a technical resource under limited supervision. The position offers growth into leadership within a firm dedicated to advancing communities and people.

Qualifications

• PE license is required or in-hand
• 0–10 years of progressively more complex post-registration Traffic and/or ITS design experience
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited program

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in traffic-ITS concepts and deliver design tasks
• Lead tasks under supervision of senior staff and mentor junior staff
• Support project delivery and client communication across transportation projects
• Contribute to marketing efforts for smaller projects and assist Task Managers with administrative duties
• Direct engineers, designers, and technicians, providing frequent peer reviews of work
• Operate with minimal supervision and meet supervisor-expected outcomes
• Collaborate across roadway, structures, drainage, and landscape disciplines to minimize design conflicts
