Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of traffic engineering principles, practices and standards.
• Skilled in using traffic engineering and design software (CADD, MicroStation, Highway Capacity Software, Synchro, CORSIM, SYDRA).
• Ability to analyze traffic data and develop actionable recommendations.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex traffic engineering studies including traffic signal studies, speed studies, and safety and capacity analyses.
• Oversee consultant staff and provide technical guidance and training.
• Prepare analyses, reports and recommendations based on engineering determinations.
• Manage projects to ensure timely and accurate completion and communicate with stakeholders.
• Investigate issues and resolve complaints; coordinate with internal and external parties.
