Qualifications

• Experience gathering data and making recommendations.
• Experience collecting and analyzing traffic related data.
• Experience designing plans for traffic control devices and roadways.
• Experience in traffic engineering studies including safety and capacity.
• Extensive knowledge of traffic engineering principles and standards.
• Proficiency with traffic engineering software such as CADD, MicroStation, Synchro, CORSIM, SYDRA.

Responsabilités

• Analyze and interpret engineering data and prepare reports and recommendations.
• Communicate with VDOT staff, local governments, consultants and the public.
• Conduct complex traffic signal, speed, safety and capacity studies.
• Manage engineering projects to ensure timely completion.
• Oversee consultant staff and coordinate project activities.
• Develop and manage scopes, schedules, budgets and deliverables.
• Promote safe operations and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Prepare and present technical analyses and findings.
