Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Project Manager, Traffic Engineering to lead transportation projects across local and regional clients. The role involves managing scope, budgets, and schedules while coordinating with multiple disciplines and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Ten or more years of professional engineering experience with emphasis on transportation engineering.
• EIT registration is required.
• PE registration or ability to obtain within six months is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Valid state driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage transportation projects and monitor progress for adherence to schedule and budget.
• Coordinate with internal departments and support disciplines with transportation expertise.
• Maintain client relationships and serve as primary client contact on assigned projects.
• Lead regular project staff meetings and mentor junior staff.
• Prepare client presentations and review technical specifications, contracts, and estimates.
• Review project changes and ensure projects stay within budget.
• Assist with budgeting, staffing, and scheduling as needed.
