Job summary

Bowman Consulting seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead transportation projects across public and private sectors in New England. You will manage budgets, schedules, client relationships, and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality roadway design work on time and within budget.

Based in Boston, Taunton, Westfield, Lincoln RI, or nearby, you will mentor staff, support marketing efforts, and coordinate with internal departments to meet project requirements and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field is required.
• Ten+ years of professional engineering experience with focus on transportation.
• EIT registration required; PE strongly preferred within six months.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation and design software.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling and QA/QC capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation projects from scope to completion with QA/QC.
• Manage budgets, staffing, schedules, and client relationships.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams and lead project meetings.
• Assist in proposals, business development, and client presentations.
• Ensure compliance with DOT standards and project specifications.
