Job summary

Bowman Consulting is seeking a Project Manager to join our transportation team. The role supports multiple MA offices (Boston, Taunton, Westfield) and potentially RI, offering broad exposure to public and private roadway projects.

You will lead projects, manage budgets and schedules, and serve as the primary client contact, mentoring staff and ensuring design quality across assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field is required.
• EIT Registration required; PE preferred.
• Ten or more years of professional engineering experience with an emphasis on transportation engineering is preferred.
• Experience leading transportation engineering projects and client relationships is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation projects from concept through design, permitting, and construction.
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, and staffing to ensure timely delivery.
• Serve as primary client contact and manage client relationships for assigned projects.
• Develop and review plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
• Lead and participate in public meetings and proposals to win new work.
• Mentor junior staff and oversee QA/QC across multiple projects.
