Job summary

Dynamic Engineering offers a Traffic Intern position that supports design engineers and project managers on traffic projects, delivering technical deliverables and CAD drawings. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Civil Engineering degree, with 0–2 years in traffic engineering and EIT preferred.

The role includes field data collection, reporting, and involvement in design plans for signals, signing, and ITS, with strong emphasis on professional growth and mentorship within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering; emphasis in traffic engineering helps.
• 0-2 years of experience in traffic/transportation engineering is expected.
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) is preferred; strong report design skills required.
• Experience with traffic signal design and timing is a plus; field data collection helps.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is required.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day project work producing technical deliverables for traffic projects.
• Establish and monitor project schedules and budgets to ensure quality.
• Assist in developing traffic control device design plans (signal, signing, markings, ITS).
• Create clear technical reports and high-quality drawings in AutoCAD.
• Perform field duties including data collection and verifications.
