Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, LLC (ICE) seeks a Civil Engineer Intern for a 12‑week program in Ocala, FL. You will gain hands-on experience across civil design, construction inspection, field investigations, and planning, with exposure to roadway and bridge design, stormwater, and utilities coordination.

You will work with senior engineers using AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and GIS tools, contributing to reports and client presentations.

Qualifications

Actively pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering; junior or senior preferred.
Coursework in Transportation/Traffic Engineering, Transportation Planning, or Highway Design.
Experience with traffic analysis tools is a plus; eagerness to learn will be valued.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing engineering reports and studies (Traffic Impact Analyses, signal warrants).
Perform traffic volume calculations in Excel.
Use AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Bentley products to develop exhibits and drawings under supervision.
Run traffic analyses models with Synchro, HCS, Sidra, and Vistro.
Prepare GIS maps for reports and studies.
Collect data through site visits, surveys, and investigations.
Collaborate with project managers to complete design tasks on schedule.
Support preparation of technical documents and client presentations.
Review project plans for compliance with standards.
