Responsibilities

• Conduct field investigations of sight restrictions, speed, delays, parking issues, and traffic device requests.
• Set up intersection counters to determine need for signals and equipment; perform turning movement counts.
• Record accident reports and conduct special studies; may perform parking surveys; produce simple drawings.
• Maintain contact with the public and generate reports from collected data.
