Job summary

HDR is seeking a Traffic Engineering Intern in Irvine, CA to assist with LOS analysis, traffic forecast modeling, and project data using GIS and AutoCAD. Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Local candidates with California internship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct LOS analysis for intersections (Synchro).
• Assist with traffic forecast modeling.
• Complete projected figures using GIS and AutoCAD.
• Conduct parking studies to analyze potential impacts.
• Perform traffic impact analysis as part of CEQA/NEPA studies.
• Support intersection LOS analysis, trip generation estimates, and cumulative impact determinations.
