Job summary

Qualifications

  • ABET-accredited engineering program
  • Must be enrolled in a relevant bachelor’s degree program (full-time, 12 credits)
  • GPA of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation of permits for right of way projects.
  • Attend meetings with contractors and agencies to explain permit procedures.
  • Review construction plans for feasibility and coordination on right of way.
  • Review work zone requests and approve or restrict activities affecting traffic.
  • Conduct field inspections and measurements of traffic control devices to ensure standards.
