Job summary

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Transportation/Traffic engineering preferred.
• EIT registration or ability to obtain EIT certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Microstation, Synchro, Microsoft Office preferred.
• Knowledge of Highway Capacity Software, TransCAD, or VISSIM a plus.
• Experience with plans, specs and estimates to standards a plus.
• Experience in traffic engineering projects such as signal timing, signing, striping, and studies a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering, design, and production support for traffic projects.
• Assist in development of traffic signal design, illumination, studies, and timing plans.
• Prepare PS&E plans including signing/striping and reports for agencies.
• Work with Project Engineers to support design decisions as part of a team.
