Job summary

HDR is seeking a Traffic EIT to join our Dallas, TX office. In this role you will support design, production, and analysis for traffic projects, including signal timing, signing, and corridor studies.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Transportation/Traffic engineering and an EIT certificate, with experience in MicroStation, Autocad, and traffic analysis tools. Collaboration with Project Engineers is essential in a team-driven, employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Transportation/Traffic engineering or equivalent.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Experience with CAD platforms (MicroStation/Autocad) and traffic analysis tools (HCS, Synchro, VISSIM, Aimsun).
• Experience in traffic signal design, signing and striping, and safety studies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering, design, and production support for traffic projects.
• Support Project Engineers in developing traffic signal design, illumination design, and traffic studies.
• Prepare PS&E plans including signing, striping, signals, and illumination; compile reports for agencies.
