TPD, ranked #4 Large Employer to Work for in America and a Top 400 ENR design firm, seeks civil engineers in Melville, NY. You will manage projects, staff and clients while guiding multi-disciplinary teams on traffic and roadway design tasks.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and NY PE license (or ability to obtain within 6 months). PTOE desirable; excellent communication; experience with NYSDOT/NYCDOT/CTDOT/NJDOT; and proficiency with MicroStation or AutoCAD.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with NYSDOT/NYCDOT/CTDOT/NJDOT standards desirable.
• MicroStation or AutoCAD knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects, staff and clients.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on traffic design tasks.
• Assist in preparing specifications, plans, schedules, and permits.
• Assist with traffic and parking studies, corridor planning, feasibility studies, and safety audits.
• Coordinate with field inspection staff and act as on-site project representative.
