Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with traffic analysis and traffic engineering/design.
• CAD experience with MicroStation, Autocad, Guide Sign software.
• Experience with safety analysis tools including HCS, Synchro, VISSIM, and Aimsun.

Responsibilities

• Serve in a technical role on traffic design and analysis projects.
• Prepare PS&E plans including traffic signal design and related elements.
• Develop traffic studies and modeling (ITS, timing plans, simulations).
• Evaluate roadway safety and provide design guidance.
• Mentor entry-level designers and EITs; interact with clients as needed.
