DRMP is seeking a Traffic Intern for a Summer Internship in Jacksonville, FL. You will work under the Department Manager, developing tools in Excel VBA to automate data processing for traffic counts, crash data, and other datasets.

Responsibilities include CAD support, basic electrical calculations, and contributing to design analyses. This internship emphasizes training, collaboration, and professional growth in a real-world setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Civil Engineering degree and able to analyze data.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and Excel.
• Able to work in groups or individually and communicate findings.
• Strong organizational and writing skills for reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist with CAD production and plan development.
• Perform basic electrical calculations such as voltage drop.
• Support lighting design analysis and power design analysis.
• Quantities takeoffs and verification.
• Assist with general design tasks across traffic and electrical projects.
