Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Traffic Controls Branch Manager in Miami, FL. RoadSafe Traffic Systems, the largest national provider of traffic safety products and services in the United States, is seeking an experienced Traffic Controls Branch Manager to lead day-to-day branch operations in Miami, FL. This is a working manager role with direct accountability for crew management, financial performance, safety compliance, and customer relations across job sites and remote locations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operational leader with deep traffic control industry knowledge, strong financial acumen, and proven experience managing branch-level P&L in a high-demand, fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Permanent

Annual Salary: $80,000 to $95,000 Annually BOE

Responsibilities:

• Oversee branch production, budgeting, and financial performance including revenue recognition, forecasting, and reporting in coordination with accounting teams.
• Manage crews and equipment across job sites and remote locations to meet customer expectations efficiently and on schedule.
• Professionally interact with municipalities and customers, manage project notifications, secure permits, and ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal traffic control standards.
• Develop employee schedules, assess labor needs, and ensure all project paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Plan and schedule projects to maximize operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness, coordinating with estimating teams on capacity planning and critical path issues.
• Assess employee capabilities and contribute to hiring, termination, and performance management decisions while ensuring proper training and professional development.
• Maintain oversight of all safety requirements including DOT and industry compliance standards, leading by example in safety practices across all field operations.
• Manage procurement of materials, oversee billing processes, and maintain accurate revenue forecasts in coordination with operations and accounting teams.
• Be available for high-demand scheduling including evenings, weekends, and emergency project needs, and travel as required for project oversight and branch operations support.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in traffic control and safety, including direct crew work and formal industry training, preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of supervisory or management experience in a branch or field operations environment, preferred.
• Deep understanding of state regulations governing traffic control devices and materials.
• Strong financial literacy including the ability to read, interpret, and manage balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
• Experience coordinating with estimating, accounting, and operations teams on budgeting, capacity planning, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with Viewpoint software preferred.
• Active involvement or familiarity with industry associations, coalitions, and state DOT collaborations.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly assess operational challenges and exercise independent judgment to implement effective solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work in outdoor field environments exposed to varying weather conditions, active traffic, and noise for extended periods.
• May be required to stand, walk, or work on active job sites for extended durations.
• Occasional stooping, kneeling, and bending required.
• May need to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
• Must be able to operate a company vehicle and travel to job sites as needed.
• Regularly required to sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
• Must be available for extended hours including evenings, weekends, and emergency callouts.

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000 annually, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
