Responsibilities

• Lead the overall branch performance and serve as the primary customer-facing leader
• Manage branch P&L and financial results including revenue, expenses, margins, cash flow, and profitability
• Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end revenue forecasts
• Assist with accounts receivable and customer payment collections as needed
• Develop and maintain relationships with roadway contractors, municipalities, DOT representatives, and other key customers
• Oversee staffing levels and hiring decisions to meet workload and project demand
• Ensure resources and equipment align with project requirements and safety standards

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Branch Manager – Traffic Control / Roadway Operations in Sutter, CA. The Branch Manager – Traffic Control / Roadway Operations leads all business and operational functions of the branch, including full P&L ownership, financial forecasting, staffing, and customer relationship management. This role serves as the primary customer-facing leader, building and maintaining partnerships with roadway contractors, utility contractors, municipalities, and DOT representatives. The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with hands‑on operational leadership and a solid understanding of traffic control and roadway safety standards.

Job Type: Permanent

Annual Salary: $80,000 to $90,000 Annually BOE

Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall business and operational performance of the branch, serving as the primary customer‑facing leader.
• Manage branch P&L and financial results, including monitoring revenue, expenses, margins, cash flow, and profitability.
• Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and year‑end revenue forecasts.
• Assist with accounts receivable and customer payment collection as needed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with roadway contractors, utility contractors, municipalities, DOT representatives, and other key customers.
• Oversee staffing levels based on current workload and future project demand, including hiring, coaching, developing, and managing branch employees.
• Address employee performance issues and participate in hiring and termination decisions.
• Ensure operational resources, equipment, and personnel are aligned with project requirements.
• Partner with field leadership to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with customer expectations.
• Maintain compliance with applicable DOT requirements and traffic safety standards.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve branch performance, customer service, and profitability.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in branch or operations management, preferably within traffic control, roadway operations, or a related field services industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage P&L, prepare financial forecasts, and drive branch profitability.
• Experience developing and maintaining relationships with contractors, municipalities, and DOT stakeholders.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of hiring, developing, and managing field and office personnel.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and traffic safety standards applicable to roadway operations.
• Ability to align staffing, equipment, and operational resources with project demand.
• Experience assisting with accounts receivable and customer payment collection processes.
• Strong communication and customer‑facing skills with the ability to represent the branch at a senior level.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
• Must be able to visit field project sites and work in outdoor roadway environments periodically.
• May be exposed to traffic, loud noises, and varying weather conditions during site visits.
• Occasional stooping, kneeling, and bending may be required.
• Light to moderate lifting may be required on occasion.
• Must be aware of applicable OSHA and traffic safety standards when present in field environments.

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 annually, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
