Job summary

Integrity Trade Services seeks a hands-on Branch Manager to lead operations of our traffic-control branch in Fuquay-Varina, NC. You will supervise field crews, manage safety, scheduling, and financial performance while delivering projects on time and to client specs.

As an active working manager, you will coordinate with estimating and accounting, maintain compliance with DOT and industry standards, and develop the team through training and mentoring in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 10 years of traffic-control and safety experience.
• At least 10 years of supervisory or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct branch production, budgeting activities, and overall financial results.
• Oversee shop operations, customer relationships, and field/job-site execution.
• Partner with estimating on workload capacity, scheduling, and critical-path considerations.

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Branch Manager for our traffic control client to start immediately at $80k-90k/annually DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!

Responsibilities:

The Branch Manager leads the daily operations of branch personnel, field crews, and equipment to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with customer requirements. This position is responsible for supporting successful project delivery, developing employees, and managing all key branch functions, including safety, staffing, financial performance, and regulatory compliance.

We are looking for a hands-on operations leader with sound financial judgment, strong customer-service and relationship-management abilities, and the capacity to align corporate objectives with customer expectations and local operational resources. This is an active, working-manager position that requires direct participation in traffic-control and field operations. The ideal candidate is a driven, intentional leader who performs well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is dedicated to continuous operational improvement.

The Branch Manager is responsible for:

• Directing branch production, budgeting activities, and overall financial results
• Overseeing shop operations, customer relationships, and field/job-site execution
• Partnering with estimating teams on workload capacity, scheduling, and critical-path considerations
• Collaborating with accounting on revenue recognition, forecasting, billing, and reporting
• Maintaining compliance with all applicable safety, regulatory, and company requirements
• Crew and Equipment Management: Lead field crews and coordinate equipment deployment, including at remote locations, to deliver efficient service and meet customer expectations.
• Customer and Municipal Relationships: Build and maintain professional relationships with customers and municipal agencies; oversee project notifications, permitting requirements, and regulatory obligations.
• Problem Solving and Decision Making: Evaluate operational challenges promptly and use independent judgment to implement practical, effective solutions.
• Personnel and Scheduling: Create employee schedules, manage labor requirements, and ensure project documentation and required paperwork are completed accurately and on time.
• Project Planning and Execution: Organize, schedule, and oversee projects to maximize productivity, cost control, and timely completion.
• Staffing and Performance Management: Evaluate employee skills and performance, participate in hiring and termination decisions, and ensure team members receive appropriate training and development.
• Safety and Compliance: Maintain responsibility for safety performance and compliance with DOT regulations, industry standards, and all applicable requirements.
• 24/7 Operational Support: Remain available to support demanding schedules, including evening, weekend, and emergency project needs.
• Procurement and Financial Reporting: Coordinate material requests, oversee billing-related activity, and maintain reliable revenue forecasts and financial reporting.
• Travel: Travel as necessary to provide project oversight and support branch operational needs.
• Overtime as needed.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of state regulations governing traffic-control devices, materials, and related requirements.
• Active participation in relevant industry associations, coalitions, and state DOT partnerships or collaborations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with Viewpoint software is preferred.
• Solid financial acumen, including the ability to interpret balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, forecasts, and other operational financial reports.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
• At least 10 years of traffic-control and safety experience preferred, including hands-on crew experience and formal industry training.
