Job summary

Traffic Safety Services is seeking a dependable technician to support traffic control, permit installation, and pavement marking projects. The role is seasonal and on-site with wages starting at $20.00/hr and prevailing wage ranges of $30.80–$34.30/hr for on-site work.

Responsibilities include driving to sites, setting up and handling traffic control devices, maintaining vehicles and equipment, and assisting all departments to complete jobs safely and on time.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Valid driver's license; CDL a plus with clean record.
• Experience operating forklift or skid-steer is a plus.
• Reliable communication method for work schedules.
• Reading maps and traffic control/pavement marking plans/specifications.

Responsibilities

• Drive the company vehicle to and from job sites safely.
• Deliver, set up, tear down, and maintain traffic control devices.
• Assist departments to ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Maintain a clean shop and yard.
• Inspect, fuel, and stock trucks and equipment.
• Organize and maintain inventory.
• Load, tie down, transport, and unload trucks and equipment.
• Safely lift and move traffic control devices.
• Assist with pavement marking layout and application.
• Operate heads on small grinders; run forklift and skid-steer.
• Perform minor equipment repairs as needed.
• Follow company policies and safety regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.
