TRAFFIC SAFETY SERVICES INC is seeking a dependable Traffic Control, Perm Install, and Pavement Marking Technician for seasonal on-site work in North Dakota. The position offers an hourly wage of $20.00/hr, with prevailing on-site wages of $30.80–$34.30/hr.

The role includes driving a company vehicle, setting up and maintaining traffic control devices, assisting multiple departments, and ensuring timely project completion. Overtime may be required; safety and teamwork are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus with a clean driving record.
• Forklift and skid-steer experience a plus.
• Reliable method to receive work schedule.
• Proficiency reading maps and traffic control/pavement marking plans.
• Able to operate motor vehicles, hitch and back up trailers.
• Basic math skills; read a tape measure.
• Professional attitude; team player, self-motivated, organized, positive.
• Good spoken/written English communication skills.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicle to/from job sites safely.
• Deliver, set up, tear down and maintain traffic control devices.
• Assist departments to complete jobs on time.
• Maintain clean shop and yard.
• Inspect, fuel and stock trucks and equipment.
• Organize and maintain inventory.
• Load and unload trucks and equipment with proper tie-downs.
• Lift/move traffic control devices and materials.
• Assist with pavement markings layout and application.
• Operate and change heads on small grinders.
• Operate forklift and skid-steer.
• Perform minor equipment repairs.
• Follow safety regulations and company policies.
• All other duties as assigned.
