Job summary
Traffic Safety Services Inc. is seeking dependable Traffic Control, Permanent Installation & Pavement Marking Technicians for seasonal travel-based work on roadway projects.
You will install and maintain traffic control devices, pavement markings, and permanent signs, while operating trucks and equipment to support site safety and project timelines. The role offers starting wages around $20/hr with prevailing wage on qualifying projects, plus a comprehensive benefits package and travel
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record; CDL preferred.
- Ability to read traffic control plans and maps.
- Ability to operate trucks and trailers safely, including backing up.
- Basic math skills and tape measure reading.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles while traveling to job sites.
- Install, maintain, and transport traffic control devices.
- Assist with pavement markings layout and application.
- Install permanent traffic signs and related devices.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload trucks and equipment.
- Operate forklifts, skid steers, and small grinders.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and inspections.
- Maintain shop, yard, and inventory areas.
- Follow safety procedures and DOT regulations.
