Qualifikationen

• Valid Driver's License required and DOT regulatory compliance knowledge.
• 1-3 years of traffic control experience with at least 2,000 field hours.
• Able to pass background check and motor vehicle records check.
• Must pass drug test and comply with federal DOT requirements.
• Wear safety equipment (boots, hard hat, safety glasses, vest) at all times.
• Ability to read basic road signs, complete paperwork, and understand regulations.
• Ability to read and implement traffic control plans.
• Good knowledge of state and local roadways; operate delivery vehicles safely.
• Lift and move up to 70 pounds.
• Must complete ATSSA TCT intermediate training.
• Willingness to travel statewide, nights and weekends as required.
• Mechanical background is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Set up and take down lane closures on highways and roads.
• Redirect traffic for workers or survey crews; ensure safety of work zones.
• Assemble, deliver, and pickup safety products from job sites.
• Drive company trucks to transport materials and equipment.
• Operate MOT and TMA vehicles on project sites.
• Place temporary construction signs and arrow boards in work areas.
• Install traffic cones and safety devices; monitor the work zone.
• Load and unload traffic control items at shift start/end.
• Perform routine shop maintenance and equipment repairs.
• Follow all safety rules and company policies.
• Support other duties as assigned.
