Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Traffic Control Supervisor II to oversee and execute traffic control operations on assigned projects. You will lead crews, ensure safety, manage documentation, and transport equipment between job sites.

The role requires ATSSA certification, 3–4 years of experience, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed. A valid driver's license and clean MVR are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record.
• ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor certification required.
• Must complete ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor advanced training.
• Proven experience setting up traffic control operations on state/local roadways.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to transport materials and equipment to and from job sites.
• Lead daily traffic control crews, including Traffic Control Technicians and Flaggers, with leadership.
• Ensure safety protocols, PPE, and company policies are followed.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety training to crew members.
• Mentor and train new hires in traffic control procedures.
• Maintain accurate timesheets and job documentation daily.
• Set up, monitor, and remove traffic control devices and signs.
• Inspect work zones for proper device placement and site safety.
• Perform shop duties and maintenance on traffic control equipment.
