Job summary

Traffic Safety Services is seeking a dependable Traffic Control, Perm Install, and Pavement Marking Technician for seasonal work in North Dakota. The role includes driving, setting up and maintaining traffic control devices, and supporting multiple departments to complete projects on schedule.

Applicants should be 18+, hold a valid license (CDL a plus), and be able to operate forklifts and skid-steers. Excellent map-reading and English communication are required; overtime may occur as weeks vary.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old and able to meet physical requirements.
• Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus with clean driving record.
• Experience operating forklift and skid-steer is advantageous.
• Reliable communication to receive work schedule and read plans.
• Able to read maps and traffic control and pavement marking plans/specifications.
• A team player with self-motivation, organized, positive attitude.
• Good English communication, both written and verbal.
• Overtime may be required; work weeks vary.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicle to and from job sites safely.
• Deliver, set up, tear down, and maintain traffic control devices.
• Assist all departments to ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Maintain a clean shop and yard; organize inventory.
• Wash, inspect, fuel, and stock trucks and equipment.
• Load, tie down, transport, and unload trucks and trailers.
• Operate heads on small grinders; use forklift and skid-steer.
• Perform minor repairs on equipment as needed.
• Follow safety regulations and company procedures; stay a team player.
