Job summary

Acme Barricades is seeking a Maintenance of Traffic laborer to perform temporary traffic control operations on highway construction sites in the Youngstown, OH area. The role emphasizes safe traffic management and adherence to regulations with opportunities for growth.

No prior experience is required; we provide training. You should be able to communicate clearly, work in a team, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Overtime and competitive pay are available.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Able to communicate clearly both written and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain traffic control devices and signs.
• Set up maintenance of traffic activity including detours and lane closures.
• Coordinate with on-site client representatives or officials.
• Load/unload equipment from company trucks.
• Deliver/pick up equipment from job sites.
• Coordinate activities of laborers to ensure MOT compliance.
• Complete daily paperwork and reports as required.
